• Dutch Business Day in the Usti Region (November 14, 2002)
  - meeting of Czech and Dutch firms and experts from the field of environmental technology for the purpose of creation or development of mutual cooperation in production, research and tradeů
• project Preparation of SMEs for Implementation of Quality Management System According to ISO Standards (August 2002 till June 2003)
  - main objective of the project: increase of competitive advantage of Czech enterprises, better employment and higher level of qualification
  - realized activities: 2 workshops, certification course "Quality Management in Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises", short attachment to a company operating ISO quality system, 2 manuals, internet portal, survey of firm benefit of quality management within the NUTS II Northwest Region
• project ENLARGEMENT within the campaign of Czech EIC Network "EU Enlargement - New Challange for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (May to December 2003)"
  - main objective of the project: provide help to small- and medium-sized enterprises for exploitation of opportunities created by enlargement of EU
