The Programme for the Development of Industrial Zones has been created to support
investment preparation of the territory determined by ground plans of towns for industrial
production, it concerns independent part of the investment incentives system. In frame of
this system, towns and regions, possibly private developers may if specific conditions are
fulfilled, draw system investment grant from the state budget for construction of technical
infrastructure of industrial zones, contribution for purchase of touched lands from the Estate
Fund of Czech Republic, construction and re-construction of production halls or contribution
for training, technical equipment and marketing materials of industrial zones.

As of 1988 to 2002 in total 71 industrial zones received on basis of this system mentioned investment incentive.
